Avery is 6 months old!
Can you believe that just 6 months ago I was at the hospital, going through pain, nausea and fatigue, and then finally gave birth to this little one?
In the past 6 months Avery has taught me so much about myself. Learning how to breastfeed a baby was the hardest thing I ever learned to do – and Avery gave me the strength to keep trying, to keep working on the latch. I got through those tough sleepless nights, learned to shower and get dressed (and all pretty) in 10 minutes and made sure I ate enough and stayed hydrated. Keeping a positive mind was made easy by looking at this little baby boy (and with the support of a loving husband).
I miss the little newborn baby boy that he once was. He grew so fast and has become so strong in no time. He now crawls to his toys, looks around the room to see where his mommy is and knows how to keep himself entertained. I am a very proud and blessed mother. He may have been a difficult baby the first 3 months of his life, but he has adapted so well and has made it very easy for our family.
Happy 6 months to this little monkey, to the sunshine of our lives, to the one little person that makes our hearts so full of love and joy. Life is a million times better with you in it.
We love you so much Avery!

P.S. Daddy is super happy that your half birthday was on Star Wars Day aka May the Fourth (be with you).
